      Short version: This app does not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. Analytics are anonymous. You can use the app without an account.
    

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

We do not require account creation and do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information (PII) directly.

The app may automatically collect the following non-personal data:

Anonymous usage analytics — screen views, feature interactions, and session counts (via PostHog). No names, emails, or device identifiers linked to you.
Crash reports and diagnostic data — stack traces and device model/OS version when the app crashes (via Sentry). No PII included.
Purchase receipts — when you purchase the Pro Lifetime upgrade, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google and managed by RevenueCat. We receive only an anonymous subscriber ID and entitlement status — no payment card details.
Advertising data — if you are a free user, banner ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) for ad personalization. On iOS 14.5+, we display Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before any tracking occurs. You can opt out at any time in your device Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

Crash data: to identify and fix bugs.
Usage analytics: to understand which features are used most and improve the app.
Purchase data: to unlock the Pro tier features for paying users.
Advertising data: to serve relevant ads to free users via AdMob.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for marketing emails.

4. Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party SDKs, each with their own privacy policy:

PostHog — anonymous product analytics
Sentry — crash reporting
RevenueCat — in-app purchase management
Google AdMob — ad serving (free tier only)

5. Data Storage and Retention

Most app data (timer schedules, preferences, recipe cache) is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. Anonymous analytics and crash reports are retained for up to 12 months by the respective third-party processors.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect PII, there is generally no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns about data held by a third-party SDK, please contact them directly using the links in Section 4. For any other requests, email us at support.dingalabs@gmail.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app's update notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
